How to use brick acid.

Depending on how stubborn the stains are and what is required to be rid of, determines the ratio of the mix you need to dilute with water. You need to get this right in order to make the clean really effective.

The rule of thumb is to mix the acid with water at the correct ratio. Use a simple garden sprayer which is cheap and can be re-used at a cost effective price. Make sure you cover the area that requires the clean and use a stiff brush to work the diluted acid into the brickwork.

I would also advise putting a small amount of washing liquid in too, just to make sure the acid doesnt run and stick to the areas that require attention. Leave the acid for up to an hour and start to apply pressure with the pressure washer and check for results.

If needed re-apply the mix again and repeat. Finally giving the areas a rinse down. Please do watch my videos and pictures of how effective acid can be on your brickwork and how effective it has been for me when challenged with tough stains and growth that require attention.
